Summer runs on the Cowlitz
|
A great trip this weeekend to the Cowlitz for summer run Steelhead
All 4 fish were 3 year salt all running about 11 to 14 pounds

Charlton boys catch nice Coho
|
It was a great morning on the sound with Norm Charlton, his wife and two nephews.
The Coho salmon continue to bite off Jefferson head with lots of the boats limiting early again.

Coho fishing remains very good with early limits on our first charter and then limits on the second charter.
although the sunday fishing started off slower than the rest of the week, it got to perking around 7Am with good action. we limited before 9Am, returned to the dock, cleaned their fish, loaded up the Bittiger party, Stopped at the fuel dock and returned to the fishing grounds by 10:30Am.
We didn't land right on the fish, but after a short move to the south side of Jefferson Head, we got into a bite. after a few losses and some landings we had their limits by 1PM
so all in all a great day of fishing and finished with a double charter before the heat got to us.

Attenix girls score big with the fish and the Captain
|
The coho fishing off Jefferson head continues to be very good
today the fishing was super and the Attenix girls made for a beautiful and fun day on the water.
Allison shared her love for her neighbor (not) and we all had a great laugh with this one.

A great morning on Jeff Head
We had a full limit of Silvers in less than an hour
So we tried Elliot Bay for a king as a bounces fish and scored.
22 pound King and 8 Silvers

Coho limits out of Seattle
|
The Coho continue to bite early with 12 fish by 8Am and lots of other action as we lost 13 fish while trying to land them.
thats 25 hook ups in 3 hours of fishing.
this is a captains and customers dream about how fishing should be every day.

King Salmon fishing opens in Elliott Bay with some very impressive King Salmon
This 26lb 6oz king hit the deck at 5:45Am
We had Four strikes and managed to land just this one nice king, but the reports we excellent.
WDFW checked 70 boats with over 50 fish, which is one of the best Elliott Bay openers in a while.

The Coho fishing off Jefferson Head is good with limits or near limits for most Charter boats and lots of private boats as well
These fish are averaging 3 to 4 lbs with an occasional 5 lb fish.
Best lures have been chrome dodger with white or green squid fishing early in the morning down about 30 to 60 feet then going down to 70 to 90 as the sun rises higher in the sky.
